　　梅爾哥在成名荒唐之前，曾經做了幾首非常勵志的歌曲，而這是其中一首。在此獻給那些還沒被真實世界打敗，仍保有赤子之心追逐自己夢想的人們（該首收錄於專輯Room for squares，並於2001/06/05出版）。
　　這裡要說的東西有點黑暗。最後如愷爺所著的文章：「漸」所說的一樣，我也成了冷酷的成年人。之後應該也會變成頑固的老頭無誤。我想說的是，小洛哥提的這個需求層次理論：第一層的生理需求就是父母阻斷你追夢告誡你尋正道的原因之一。第二、三、四層：安全感、朋友關係、自尊心，遭逢抹黑背叛，一夕之間就能灰飛湮滅。這樣怎麼走到第五層的自我實現？並不是每個人都能在遭逢巨變之後重生的，現實世界就是這回事。
　　也不是每個人都這麼慘啦，只是要達到目標，除了自己夠優秀夠努力，做人處事也要外圓內方。人紅招人妒是千古不變的至理名言。怎麼生存下來，各憑本事。也許就像梅爾哥說的，真實世界只是要嚇唬你的話語，克服爬過去就是了。
